We explore the collective pleasures, possibilities, and perils of doing science in India. We're marking the contributions of the trailblazing women in STEM through masterclasses, a panel, art and performances.

The Green Beat was our first ever virtual event held on June 26, 2020. This was a retrospective exploration of intersectional environmentalism, conservation, and immersive storytelling with environmental journalist and researcher, Sonali Prasad. Sonali spoke about spoke about 'slow' journalism, how to contextualise aid efforts, disaster management and 'parachuting' when it comes to writing about communities and environmental justice. The Green Beat is supported by the India Climate Collaborative.
