We invited women from various organisations that are revolutionising women's narratives in incredible ways. We had talks by Aisha Khatoon of Sanatkada Samajik Pehel (an organisation from Lucknow that trains Muslim women to use a camera to produce documentaries on women's issues), Meera Devi of Khabar Lahariya (a women-run digital first news outlet from Bundelkhand that publishes rural news), and General Narsamma of Sangham Radio (a radio station from Hyderabad, run by Dalit women, that hosts shows on culture, language, farming, health and ecology).

These were part of a two-day conference - 'We the Nation: Micro-narratives of Change', that showcased incredible organizations who are innovatively archiving, reporting and commenting on the changes taking place in contemporary Indian society.
