In this talk held at Godrej India Culture Lab on 23rd November 2012, the co-founder of Junoon, Sameera Iyengar, argues that human beings are strange creatures who delight in discovery, revel in emotion, are given to flights of fancy, take joy in imagining beyond the obvious and who need to be fulfiled in ways that are not only material. Therefore we need to seriously and joyfully embrace theatre and the performing arts at large.
