The event explored the possibilities of design innovation in Dharavi, a hub for artisans who have serviced the fashion industry for decades.

Mohammad Ismail Ansari and Shaikh Alam, embroidery artisans from Dharavi had joined hands with fashion designer Jay Ramrakhiani to create an exquisite collection that was showcased at the event. Ansari and Ramrakhiani then joined Dr. Nayreen Daruwalla, Programme Director, SNEHA and Kruti Saraiya from the Dharavi Design Museum for a panel discussion that was moderated by Parmesh Shahani, head, Godrej India Culture Lab.
