DECODING THE DIGITAL WORLD

Navigating The Content Trap with Bharat Anand

10 February 2017 5:00 PM

The Godrej India Culture Lab collaborated with Harvard Business School India Research Centre to present a special lecture by master business strategist Bharat Anand

From the faculty chair of Harvard Business School’s heralded HBX initiative comes an incisive new approach to one of the key questions of our time: how to thrive rather than be destroyed by digital transformation.

By examining a range of businesses from around the world, Anand attempted to answer two of the biggest challenges that businesses face today: “getting noticed” and “getting paid”. The talk was an extension of his incredible book The Content Trap. The book uses the latest research in economics, strategy, and marketing, to reveal important lessons, smash celebrated myths, and reorient strategy for companies today.

Digital change means everyone can reach and interact with others directly — we are all in the content business. But that comes with risks that Bharat Anand through The Content Trap taught us how to recognize and navigate.
