Pooja Sood is the Director of KHOJ International Artists Association which is an autonomous, registered society committed to
experimentation and exchange in the visual arts in India. Pooja has been Artistic Director and curator of 48°C Public.Art.Ecology,
a public art project across eight sites in Delhi, and the founding Director of ArThinkSouthAsia, (www.arthinksouthasia.org) an arts management programme for young cultural leaders in South Asia and she travels all over the world as an ambassador of the incredible artistic work coming out of the Indian subcontinent.

In her talk, Pooja gave us an overview of what exactly constitutes contemporary Indian art, what is the context of the art scene in the country. She will also talk about pathbreaking contemporary Indian artists as well as the some of the exciting interventions she has done with KHOJ. Her journey into the art world has has enriched Pooja personally and she will also reflect upon this. Her talk will be accompanied by images, sounds and films.
