Jugaad Innovation

5 June 2012

Whether to find ingenious solutions to problems or turn adversity into opportunity—we Indians swear by the spirit of jugaad. In their book (published by Random House), authors Navi Radjou, Jaideep Prabhu, and Simone Ahuja use the concept of jugaad to challenge the very way traditional organizations think and act. Using case studies of innovative entrepreneurs in emerging markets such as Africa, India, China, and Brazil, they show us different paths to engender breakthrough growth in our complex and resource-scarce world.

They presented the book on our Vikhroli campus for our first Godrej Book Club event. They were in conversation with Manjeet Kriplani, head of Gateway House, India's first independent and non-partisan foreign policy think tank.
