Emotions drive learning, decision making, creativity, relationships, and health. Emotional intelligence refers to a person’s capacity to effectively reason about emotions and to use emotions to enhance thought and solve problems. Individuals with high levels of emotional intelligence are generally better able to perceive, identify and manage emotions in themselves and others, making them more effective at achieving goals.

We were very happy to host Dr. David R Caruso from Yale University's Center for Emotional Intelligence. At this special Change Talk Dr. Caruso shared his insights on emotional intelligence and its influence on all spheres of our lives.
