As part of this exhibition we hosted a special discussion by designer Ashdeen Lilaowala titled ‘Global Gara’.

On the occasion of yet another Children's Day, what is the future of India's children, when it comes to education? At this special Funda, Neera Nundy from Dasra shed some light on recent innovations within the education landscape for children in India, including mega trends as well as individual exemplars. Aditya Nataraj from the Kaivalya Foundation then dug in deeper by talking about the foundation's efforts over the past few years and their learning journey. In the discussion that followed, both Neera and Aditya offered suggestions on what we can do as citizens, to create a better India for its present and future generation of children.

The Godrej India Culture Lab hosted this Pop Up Friday Funda live at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013. Cool designs and smoking hot ideas came together in this very special event, for which a zany mural by artist Amrita Bagchi (from Visual Disobedience) served as the backdrop.   There was a Panel Discussion on how fashion translates itself from runway to wardrobe to street moderated by Parmesh Shahani, head of the Godrej India Culture Lab.23 August 2013
